Vail

Vail Ski Holidays

Vail is the largest single skiable mountain in North America with something to offer skiers of all abilities. The front side of the mountain is a network of wooded trails for all standards. Advanced and expert skiers and snowboarders seeking powder should head for the famous Back Bowls.
The trails here are near perfectly groomed, as you would expect in one of north America's premier ski destinations.
The village of Vail is large, yet attractive modelled in a Bavarian style with an array of shops and boutiques. Dining in Vail is a very pleasant experience indeed with the American attitude to service and a great variety of restaurants to choose from.
Vail should be another ski resort firmly in your top 10 places to visit.

With the flexibility of the Vail Resorts lift tickets you can also experience the excitement of Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin all on the same lift pass.

Vail Mountain - Front

Vail offers around 300km of terrain on a par with most large European ski areas.
Accommodation is available for all budgets, including the superb Sonnenalp Hotel through to the condominiums of Breakaway West. Restaurants and bars include the busy Garfinkels in Lionshead and the lively Red Lion, through to Los Amigos and the gourmet Sweet Basil.
Watch the skiers ski (or fall) down the bottom of the men's downhill run from the deck of Los Amigos, with a Margarita in your hand. Late night bars include the Fu Bar or Vendettas.
